Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pork sausage torn into pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Whole Milk lukewarm
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Low-sodium Chicken broth warmed
  • 1 clove Garlic crushed
  • ½ tsp Italian Herb Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, pour the olive oil on low heat.
  • Add pork sausage to the skillet and cook until caramelized and browned.
  • Once the sausage is cooked, add butter to it.
  • Melt the butter and add herb seasoning and garlic. Sauté them for a minute.
  • Add flour to the skillet and sauté it for a minute or until the flour is cooked.
  • Now remove the skillet from the heat.
  • Pour milk, chicken broth, and heavy cream into the skillet and mix to avoid lumps.
  • Bring the gravy to a gentle simmer and mix it gradually.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper.
