Equipment

  • Pyrex Mixing Bowls (Set of 8)
  • Square 8x8-inch Baking Pan

Ingredients

  • Chopped Unsweetened Chocolate: 4 Ounces
  • Butter: ¾ Cup or 12 Tablespoons
  • Granulated White Sugar: 1 ½ Cups
  • Eggs Beaten: 3
  • Pure Vanilla Extract: 1 Teaspoon
  • Kosher Salt: ¼ Teaspoon
  • All-Purpose Flour: 1 Cup
  • Fun-Size Snickers Bars Cut into Quarters: 12

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare: Heat your oven to 350°F. Line your 8x8-inch baking pan with foil, then coat with a nonstick spray.
  • Melt the Basics: Place the chopped chocolate and butter in a large, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at half-power for about 3-4 minutes. The goal is to melt the butter completely.
  • Whisk and Combine: Whisk until the chocolate completely melts into the butter. Incorporate the sugar, followed by the beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and a pinch of kosher salt.
  • Add the Flour: Gently fold in the flour just until the mixture becomes uniform.
  • Layer and Bake: Pour half of your brownie mixture into the prepared pan. Distribute the Snickers pieces evenly on top. Cover them with the remaining brownie batter. Place in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Aim for a slightly under-baked texture for that fudgy goodness.
  • Cool and Cut: Once out of the oven, let the brownies cool down on a wire rack. When completely cool, lift them out using the overhanging foil and slice into scrumptious bars.

Notes

  • Accurate flour measurement is crucial for the perfect brownie texture.
  • Opt for 3-4 full-size Snickers bars if you don't have the fun-size version available.
