Preheat that oven to 350°F and grease up a 9x13 baking dish.
In a big ol' bowl, mix both the sugars with the vegetable oil and eggs until smooth and creamy.
Now stir in that vanilla. Mmm!
Toss in the self-rising flour and salt, and keep mixing until it's all combined.
Last but not least, fold in those delicious toasted pecans by hand until they're evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into your greased baking dish and spread it out nice and even-like.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F until golden brown. Use a toothpick to make sure the center is fully baked.
Once out of the oven, let it sit for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Now dig in! This is amazing on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
