Bavarian Egg Rolls (Sauerkraut & Ground Beef)

The result is such a great dish with surprising flavors 🙂 No one would expect something Bavarian in their egg rolls and we all loved it!
Served with some fried rice you have the best of two cultures 🙂

Bavarian Egg Rolls (Sauerkraut & Ground Beef)

Ingredients
  

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup Bavarian sauerkraut **
  • 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon powdered vegetable stock

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F
  2. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside
  3. Bring a large skillet sprayed with cooking spray over high heat and brown ground beef in it for 5 minutes, spice with garlic and take away from heat
  4. In a medium owl combine sauerkraut, nutmeg and powdered vegetable stock
  5. Now fill all ten egg roll wrappers with equal amount of sauerkraut and ground beef, roll up and place on baking sheet
  6. Spray top of the rolls with cooking spray and bake for 15 minutes
  7. Turn rolls over and bake for additional 10 minutes, serve 🙂
