Bavarian Egg Rolls (Sauerkraut & Ground Beef)

The result is such a great dish with surprising flavors 🙂 No one would expect something Bavarian in their egg rolls and we all loved it!
Served with some fried rice you have the best of two cultures 🙂

Bavarian Egg Rolls (Sauerkraut & Ground Beef)

Ingredients

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup Bavarian sauerkraut **
  • 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon powdered vegetable stock

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 F
  • Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside
  • Bring a large skillet sprayed with cooking spray over high heat and brown ground beef in it for 5 minutes, spice with garlic and take away from heat
  • In a medium owl combine sauerkraut, nutmeg and powdered vegetable stock
  • Now fill all ten egg roll wrappers with equal amount of sauerkraut and ground beef, roll up and place on baking sheet
  • Spray top of the rolls with cooking spray and bake for 15 minutes
  • Turn rolls over and bake for additional 10 minutes, serve 🙂
