Hibachi Steak Recipe with Fried Rice

WANT TO SAVE THIS RECIPE?

I love Japanese food, and my husband is very fond of Hibachi in particular. But, it’s so expensive! So, we don’t indulge very often. But, last week we decided to try a Hibachi steak recipe with fried rice at home. It turned out very tasty. The steak was nice and tender and the sauce on it had a bold, Japanese flavor. The rice was good, too, though it didn’t have the right texture for Hibachi fried rice…I never can manage to get the firm, pleasant texture on homemade rice that Asian restaurants always have, whether I use instant rice, or regular rice. But, it was, nevertheless, a successful meal that we would eat again. The separate recipes for the steak and rice are below.
