Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsps cocoa powder unsweetened
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups boiling water
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder unsweetened

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F and melt butter in an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  • Now talk a medium-size bowl and mix ¾ cup sugar, flour, and 1 ½ tbsp cocoa in it. Then add vanilla and milk. Stir until smooth.
  • Spoon this batter over the baking dish with melted butter.
  • Mix sugar and ¼ cup cocoa powder and sprinkle it over the batter. Then pour boiling water over the top of the mixture slowly.
  • Now bake it in the oven for 30 minutes. When ready, serve with ice cream.
