Ingredients

Instructions

  • Take the chicken wings in a bowl (make sure they are scorched).
  • Sprinkle 1 tsp lemon pepper, 2 tsp garlic salt, and 1 tbsp olive oil. Coat the wings evenly.
  • Take the air fryer basket, start placing the chicken wings at equal distances and place it in the air fryer.
  • At 400 degrees, cook the wings for 16 minutes (8 minutes – on each side).
  • Once the chicken wings are golden and crispy, they are ready to serve.
  • Garnish with green onions with your favorite sauce.

Can you freeze seasoned chicken wings?

Yes, absolutely! You can freeze chicken wings for your afternoon or after-school snack. Season and coat the wings, keep them in a Ziplock bag and freeze. The next time you cook them, take them out of the freezer and without defrosting them, air fry them at 400 degrees for 10 minutes on each side. One important thing to keep in mind is that you do not flatten the chicken wings before freezing.

Can I make chicken wings in the traditional oven using this same recipe?

Yes, you can! There’s only one difference: it will take around 45-50 minutes to cook (even longer with some chicken wings), and you have to flip them after 30 minutes. You can make these on a skillet if you like, but I recommend the air fryer or oven for the perfect cooking.

What to serve with crispy air fryer chicken wings?

You can serve anything you like, from ranch dressing to BBQ sauce. If I have many guests coming over, I make a platter with these wings, fries, and a lot of ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, ketchup, and cheese sauce. It is perfect to win the hearts of both kids and adults.
