I’m always on the lookout for easy, yet delicious recipes I can make in a short amount of time. So when I stumbled upon this one, I knew I had to give it a try. This bread is made with just a few ingredients and it comes together really quickly.
The first step is to preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Then, you’ll need to grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan. Once that’s done, it’s time to make the batter. In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. In a separate bowl, mix together 1/3 cup of melted butter, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of milk, and 2 beaten eggs.
Once everything is combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Once the bread is done baking, let it cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. I enjoy this bread with a bit of butter, but it’s also great toasted with a bit of jam. The cheddar cheese adds a great flavor and it pairs really nicely with the buttery texture of the bread.

Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread
