Ingredients

For the bread:

  • Flour 2 cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 3 tsp
  • Hot water 1 cup

For the toppings:

  • Pinto beans 2 cups It should be soaked in the water overnight
  • Ground beef 1 lb
  • Lettuce
  • Sour cream
  • Uncooked bacon chopped into three strips
  • Tomato 1 Sliced

Instructions

For the bread:

  • Mix all the ingredients for the bread in the exact quantities in a bowl and mix it with your hands. The dough would be a little sticky, but that is what you want to achieve. Leave it for 10 minutes and cover it with a towel.
  • While the dough is resting in the last 5 minutes, heat the oil in a saucepan. We will be doing deep frying, so the pan should have 1-2 inches of deep oil.
  • Now make small golf-size balls. With the help of a pastry roller, roll the dough by adding flour to the surface.
  • Fry them until the sides are golden.
  • Set these on a paper towel to drain the oil.

For the toppings:

  • You can use any toppings or more than one to add to this amazing recipe. The flavors are perfect, and you will fall in love with them.

Notes

You can make the recipe in large quantities and then store the bread in airtight containers. It is perfect for anyone who has brunch at home or has many guests coming over. Believe me, this recipe will not disappoint you, so do give it a try.
