SALMON PATTIES

Salmon patties are a delicious and nutritious meal option. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed as a main dish or as a side.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 14 3/4 ounce canned salmon
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the canned salmon, onion, cornmeal, flour, egg, mayonnaise, and garlic powder. Mix together to form a thick batter.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray.
  3. Form the salmon mixture into small patties and place in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve the salmon patties with your favorite sides and enjoy!
