Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of cultured milk
  • 1 3/4 cups of granulated sugar
  • 2 extra-large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour

  • 8 ounces of unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie crust.
  • Sprinkle some freshly grated nutmeg on top.
  • Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 45 more minutes.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
