- Grab a medium-sized bowl and toss in your cucumbers, red peppers, and jalapenos. Sprinkle that sea salt over the top and give everything a good mix. Let the mixture hang out and get cozy for about an hour.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the vinegar, sugar, dill, celery seed, cayenne pepper, and water. Bring it to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar is all dissolved. Then, take it off the heat.
- Time to layer those lovely veggies into your favorite glass or plastic containers. Pour that tangy vinegar mixture right over the top.
- Pop the containers into the fridge and give the pickles a little chill time - at least 24 hours - before digging in.
