Ingredients

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 2 cans 21 oz each of apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1 package 15.25 oz of spice cake mix
  • 1 cup of melted salted butter
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts coarsely chopped

    There was no oven temperature given nor baking pan size for the Caramel Apple Dump Cake. I assume from the photo that a 9 x 13 pan was used, but what about the oven temp? 350? Go by the temp on the cake mix box?

    I made this a couple nights ago for a quick dessert. It’s so very good! The funny thing is, I just did a quick look at the recipe the other night and started gathering my ingredients and the butter, then it hit me, hey, I’ve been making this same recipe for over 20 years! Good grief! Here I thought I was going to be trying a new recipe, LOL! The only difference is in my family we call it a Fruit Cobbler. Too funny. You have many great recipes on your site, so I’m off to find a new one! Thanks.
