BUTTERMILK PANCAKES

Ingredients
  

  • All-purpose flour - 2 cups
  • Baking Powder - 2 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Granulated Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Buttermilk - 2 cups
  • Eggs beaten - 2
  • Vanilla extract optional - 1 tsp

Method
 

  1. Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl, mix. Now, add buttermilk, effs and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Keep mixing until the ingredients are properly mixed and a smooth texture appears. If there are some minor lumps, it is fine.
  2. Allow the pancake batter to settle. This time should be ten minutes.
  3. Take a cooking pan and heat it on medium flame.
  4. Spray cooking spray or brush oil on the cooking pan.
  5. Now pour ½ cup batter on the pan for making pancakes.
  6. Now, flip the pancakes when bubbles start to appear on the top layer. Cook until both sides turn golden brown.
  7. Pancakes are ready, layer them and serve with butter and syrup.
