Easy Baked Spaghetti

This is a version of spaghetti my mom made when I was growing up. She put Kraft cheese slices on top rather than mozzarella before popping it in the oven.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 24 oz. can Hunts spaghetti sauce
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • ½ onion diced
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 T. oregano
  • 1 T. basil
  • 1 t. salt
  • ½ t. pepper
  • 8 oz. spaghetti

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the onion and meat together. Drain once fully cooked.
  3. Cook the spaghett according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and return to pot. Add meat mixture, sauces, and spices.
  4. Combine well and pour into a casserole dish. Top with cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
