Method
- Place the beef, beef broth, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and Worcestershire sauce in a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together the flour and butter until it forms a paste.
- Add the paste to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, as desired.
- Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
Notes
If you like your beef tips with a thicker gravy, increase the amount of flour and butter in step 4.
For a lighter gravy, omit the flour and butter.
