Basic Sloppy Joe

WANT TO SAVE THIS RECIPE?

I had my very first Sloppy Joe yesterday. I got the recipe from my father’s friends in Texas. I want to thank you with this message, as it is probably one of my new “Lazy Wednesday” dinners.

The lightly sweet taste is what makes it so special. The sauce wasn’t too “sloppy”, so we didn’t make such a mess while eating, Tho everything was really juicy.

Shouldn’t have cooked it while my husband was here tho, because now he thinks we eat like that every day, In my eyes it’s a wonderful leftover dish. For my husbands next Game-Night I will definitely make a mini Sloppy Joe Buffet. I always have leftovers from sauces like spaghetti sauce , shredded chicken and German meat sauce that i freeze, and this is just the perfect way to use them.
