Start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees F and add parchment paper to the pan. Then poke holes into the potato and bake it for 50-60 minutes. Check with the help of a fork whether the potatoes are done or not.

Many people wrap their potatoes in foil paper, but I do not do that. The reason is that you get very moist skin, and I want it to be crispy. So, it is your choice, and you can choose any procedure according to your liking. If you are in a hurry, cut the sweet potatoes in half or more. It will take less to bake, and you can serve by sprinkling salt, pepper, and coriander.

In the instructions you say to cook them whole, but your beautiful, delicious-looking pictures show them in halves, how do they turn out so nice and crispy if you don’t cut them up before you cook them?

Next question, your instructions say to cook them 50 minutes, but in your preamble you say to cook them 30? I understand that you’re fork checking them, but how much time should I plan to coordinate the meal?

    Thank you, Gale
